With a low-key monochromatic colour scheme, this hangar complements its natural surroundings and reflects the casual, minimalist vibe of Tofino’s adventure-driven community. The structure features a single large bi-fold hangar door designed to accommodate private aircraft while maintaining architectural simplicity.
A standout feature of this building is its extensive translucent paneling, strategically incorporated to allow for abundant natural daylighting. This reduces the reliance on artificial lighting, supports energy efficiency, and creates a naturally lit interior that enhances visibility and comfort.
